• Before shampooing, use a medium to large tooth comb to gently comb your hair and remove any tangles.

• To thoroughly cleanse your scalp and remove excess product buildup, shampoo your hair twice. Use the first shampoo to focus on your scalp, and the second to focus on the midshafts and ends of your hair.

• For maximum benefit, leave the shampoo on your hair for 1 to 3 minutes after lathering.

• To avoid using too much shampoo, start with a nickel-sized amount (depending on your hair length) and add more as needed to fully wet your hair.
