Perm Wrap Technical

PREP:
Shampoo hair with clarifying shampoo and towel dry.
SUPPLIES:
Zotos Professional perm kit. See our Perm Reference Chart to find the ideal perm for your client.
STEP 1
Start at the front hairline by taking zig-zag partings. Develop a base the same width as the foil tubes used. Wrap on base away from the face.
STEP 2
Bend the foil ends to secure towards the center opposite of the wrapping direction. Continue wrapping to the crown.
STEP 3
Moving to the side of the head, continue using zig-zag partings and wrapping on base. Repeat on opposite side.
Back and nape area are wrapped in the same manner using a brick layer placement.
STEP 4
Apply Perm Solution. Follow the processing and rinse time directions of the Zotos Professional Perm you are using.
STEP 5
Apply Neutralizer. Leave on 5 minutes. Rinse. Remove wraps.
HELPFUL HINTS:
- To make foil tubes, tear 1 ft foil sections and roll up into tube shapes. Benders may also be used in place of foil tubes.
- Use perm end papers to wrap. Use a hair net to keep foils in place while rinsing out perm solution.
